I have always been a guy who recreationally used they gym and wrote my own programs. After a certain period of time, I begin to hit roadblocks; I couldn’t get past certain numbers in the gym….I had plateaued.

Thanks to Brandon and Scarlet Mass, I have been on a controlled hypertrophy program that has since helped increase my maxes in all areas including squat, bench, and deadlifts.

Each week provides a new challenge that is adequately adjusted continuously to throw my muscles into shock, leading to overall strength and physique gains.

Every 4 week block provides a new set of workouts that target different areas of the body, whether it be upper body, lower body, or strictly a push/pull day. Without Brandon I’m sure I would still be stuck at a roadblock, fighting my way through various plateaus. His in depth analysis of each individual client is comparative to no one that I have come in contact with throughout the years.

I have been working with Dallas for about eight months now and in that time I have seen dramatic changes to my strength and body along with an improved mindset about the training process. I have been lifting for over ten years now but honestly, it has never been consistent and that was difficult to admit to myself at first. During my time working with Dallas, I realized that this was the first time I was truly consistent with my diet and training routine which was why I was finally seeing results. He held me accountable with weekly check-ins which I needed to stay focused on my diet and training goals.

I have lost about ten pounds so far along with several inches off my body and I’ve gained confidence in and out of the gym that I didn’t know I was missing. Dallas has improved my form for my 3 main lifts with precise cues and constructive feedback on weekly videos.

I feel stronger now than ever and I can’t wait to continue working with Dallas to see where it takes me and my powerlifting goals.

I consider myself a unique client of Brandon’s, because I’m his mom. So, I have always thought that what Brandon knows is basically what I’ve taught him all his life and there wasn’t much that he could teach me. He proved me very wrong.

Other than the freshman 15, I’ve been able to maintain a weight that has been within a 5lb range. This was mostly due to the fact that I was a runner most of my adult life. As I have gotten older, I have now traded in running for walking. I found that the 5lbs was starting to stretch to the 10lb range and my clothes were getting very tight. I have never been a good dieter and thought it was time to get help.

My son has had success with other people, so I figured, let me try it. If I’m going to pay someone, I might as well pay him. Yes, he did charge his mom. Brandon said if I didn’t have some skin in the game, I wouldn’t try. He was right.

I told Brandon that I wanted to lose 10lbs, but in reality I would have been happy with 5. I started with Brandon in July and by late August, I had lost 7lbs. By late September I had weigh ins that were 10lbs less. I never expected to lose that much. Of course I am ecstatic. My clothes are all loose and I feel great.

I always thought that if you weren’t starving when dieting you wouldn’t be successful. I learned through working with Brandon that this is so far from the truth. His approach to dieting, was more about making good food choices so that you weren’t hungry, learning how to meal prep and track your macros. In addition, knowing that I had to check in each week and having to be held accountable for my numbers had a lot to do with my success as well. During our check ins, Brandon would review my data and make adjustments if needed. Other than losing weight after being pregnant, I have never lost this much weight on my own. I consider this a great success for me.

Next, is getting Brandon’s dad to sign up. I’m almost there.

Before working with Brandon and Scarlet Mass I was working out consistently but I was not reaching my full potential. When I started working with Brandon I was immediately impressed by his wealth of knowledge in both nutrition and the gym.

He also takes the time to personalize programs for each individual client he works with. During check ins each week he asks questions to really involve the client’s thoughts and opinions on how the program is progressing. The individualized attention you receive is unlike any other personal training program I have experienced.

Working with Brandon has pushed me to reach numbers in the gym and on the scale I truly thought impossible. I look and feel better than I ever have in my life and it is all thanks to Scarlet Mass. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to take their training or fitness goals from dreams to reality.

Coming back from 2 mentally/physically devastating injuries, coupled with the stresses of a new job resulted in diminished confidence and a 15 pound weight gain that made me feel like a shell of my former self. The team at Scarlet Mass really tuned in and worked out (pun intended) a program custom-made to my needs, goals and hectic schedule.

A couple of months in, I’ve shed those 15 pounds and some. Brandon has helped me work in new and efficient ways to still hit all of my muscles groups all while avoiding the places that cause me pain. As well as a diet that really helps take the guesswork out of the kitchen and the grocery list. I’d recommend him and his program to anyone!

Before working with Brandon I was always inconsistent with my gym routine which resulted in a lack of overall progress. My lifts would stop progressing and I would hit a wall both physically and mentally. 

Once I started working with Brandon I was able to consistently progress and reach my weightlifting goals. Brandon worked very closely with me in order to accommodate my busy work schedule. He created routines that challenged me on a daily basis while still taking into consideration the fact that I have a very physically demanding job.  I would absolutely recommend Brandon as a trainer based on his knowledge and first hand experience with fitness and nutrition.

I have been working with Dallas since December 2016. When we first started working together, I could tell right away that he was not in the coaching business for money, but rather to help others pursue their passion in fitness.

Dallas is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about powerlifting, as well as other fitness related topics. Not only has my strength and technique improved, but my mentality and the way I view training has also changed for the better.

I really enjoy working with Dallas and I plan to continue with him for as long as I am interested in being the strongest version of myself.

Dallas has been my coach for the past 8 months and counting, and within the span of that time, I have been able to put 125kg on my competition total and discover a lot of my potential as a powerlifter. Previously, I was inconsistent with training and had spent several months away from powerlifting because of a lower back injury. I wanted to do things the right way once I was injury-free, and Dallas seemed to know what he was doing and had been recommended to me by a few friends. Also being a former member of Rutgers Powerlifting, he has been someone I have looked up to since I was first introduced to the powerlifting community and joined the team.

From the beginning, Dallas has helped me build a strong foundation for my lifts and develop queues that have become habit. I started warming up correctly, training consistently, and became so much more confident in lifting. I had grown from a person who was unsure of what she was doing and intimidated by crowded gyms; to someone with a stronger mindset and who definitely doesn’t let any crowded gym stop her from improving. With this confidence, I have also been able to connect more with my teammates and build stronger relationships with individuals who have the same passion for powerlifting and working hard to get better. I never knew I would improve as much as I have, but I guess all I needed was a push in the right direction. Physically, I have become much stronger, but I have become even more so mentally. I have gone through many ups and downs, whether in the gym or out, but Dallas has showed me to appreciate the small victories and not let bad days bring me down. If you are willing to put in the work, stick to the program and trust the process, there will always be results.

Dallas has been an exceptional coach and I have appreciated the feedback on my lifts, as well as being there for me on the days I have competed. I am incredibly thankful for the role he has played in helping me become the powerlifter I am today compared to a year ago, and looking forward to the gains I will make moving forward with Dallas as my coach.
